Canola Agri-Science Research Cluster Request for Letters of Intent
Canada’s canola industry and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) have jointly funded canola research over the last three AgriScience Cluster programs. In addressing multiple industry-wide priorities, this investment into research and innovation has been critical in advancing the canola sector’s contribution to the Canadian economy to almost $30 billion annually.
Under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership, Canola Council of Canada, Alberta Canola, SaskCanola and Manitoba Canola Growers Association and AAFC are looking to build on the continued success of the Canola AgriScience Research Cluster in developing a fourth robust research program that aligns with priorities set out in the next Agricultural Policy Framework (APF) and the Canola Innovation Strategy – outlined in the LOI Call Guidance document.
