How to make SaskCanola your home page If you're a canola producer, or someone who works with canola in some way, you can make the SaskCanola home page your default starting page in your web browser. While all browsers do this a bit differently, the following instructions should work for any modern web browser. Step 1: Go to the page that you want to make your home page. In this case that would be http://www.saskcanola.com. Step 2: Open the Preferences menu in your web browser. The location of your Preferences will vary depending on your browser and operating system, but it shouldn't be hard to find. You're looking for the place where you can set some basic preferences for your browser. Step 3: In your Preferences there will be an option where you can enter a Home Page URL (http://www.saskcanola.com), this will be the default page that opens whenever you launch your web browser. There is also usually a button called 'Use Current Page' or 'Set to Current Page'. You can load the SaskCanola home page, go to Preferences and simply hit this 'Use Current Page' button. Step 4: You may need to click an OK button to save your preferences change. Then you're done. Quit your browser, then launch it again and it should load the SaskCanola home page automatically. If you need assistance with this process try your browser's Help menu, or ask someone you know who is web savvy. |
